Are you concerned about the chemicals that are used in synthetic hair dyes?

Henna, Indigo & Senna are naturally occurring organic hair dyes that are obtained from plant powders. They have been used as hair dyes for thousands of years and are not new inventions. Leaves of some plants have natural colour, which when applied to hair give different shades. Our Henna, Indigo & Senna powder have no additives, metallic salts, PPD, or ammonia and is Certified Organic.

Unlike artificial dyes, a standardised colour cannot be obtained using natural dyes, as the final colour depends on your natural hair colour and how your hair absorbs the dye.

When buying a natural hair dye, look beyond the claims of "no ammonia", "no peroxide", "herbal henna"– look at the ingredient list. If it is a pure, natural plant powder, the product should list botanical names such as Lawsonia Innermis (Henna) or Indigofera Tinctoria (Indigo) or Cassia Acutifolia (Senna). If there are any other additives, research before you buy.
